Holly Hunter, an American actress and film producer is famous for her performance in movies like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The film Piano earned her numerous awards including an Oscar. Her career began acting as a performer on Broadway and Off Broadway. From her early years, she has been passionate in the field of acting. She portrayed Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in the school's play. Her hearing loss was in one ear due to mellitus, but didn't have this limitation deter her determination to become an actor. She studied drama at college, and then moved to Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City to follow her goals. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and the two collaborated to make Broadway Crimes of the Heart, Hunter's first film. When she moved into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to find film roles. A role in the supporting part was securing in Swing Shift. She has appeared in countless films, TV series and movies over the course of her professional career. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actress as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
